COMMANDING VS WARNING

In making a commanding, we use an infinitive verb in the beginging, contrast with warning that we use a negative form. (dalam membuat perintah, kita menggunakan kata kerja bentuk pertama pada bagian awal, berbeda dengan larangan, dimana kita menggunakan bentuk negatif)

Here the example:

COMMANDING	WARNING
Open the door! (Buka pintunya!) Look at the picture! (Lihat gambar!) Close the window! (Tutup jendelanya!) Hold this! (Pegang ini!) Take me a coffee! (Ambilkan kopi!) Have a seat, please! (Duduk, donk!)	Don’t cheat! (Jangan berbisik!) Don’t sleep in the class! (Jangan tidur di kelas!) Don’t be noisy! (Jangan Berisik!) Don’t feed the animal! (Jangan beri makan binatang!) Don’t come late! (Jangan datang telat!) Don’t worry! (Jangan kuatir!)

I.            Make a commanding and warning with these words bellow! (buatlah perintah dan larangan mengunakan kata-kata di bawah ini)

                        Read the text!

c.       Throw                                          g.    Stop

d.      Make                                           h.    Turn

II.            Make an apropriate sentence, commanding or warning based on the pictures bellow!

Example:

No Smoking!                        Stop here, please!
