The Students' of Islamic Boarding School Preparation Face Globalization

A cultural social fact or globalization that has already predicted by a lot of futurologist (an old hand at about future), has obviously became fact. Globalization or infinite the world, particularly in territorial bounds and communication, was observable with quickly force and sophisticated. Actually, globalization continually walks, likes opened information and communication via Internet network and another cellular network, it finds consumer day to day. Therefore, we should have trick read and also build critical attitude, to increase human resources equally, that we in turn may simply get to take / create those strategic opportunities. 

It is the students of Islamic boarding school or santri, that has basic and tradition that has already came for a long time. Therefore, the students of Islamic boarding school have urgency forwards to respond positively with understandings facet that has the clear aim. As a question now is, how the students of Islamic boarding school laid their position on developing in the third Millennium whereas global emulation situation will be more complex and global bounds, such as territorial's bounds, state, nation, and culture will vanish. 

Globalization just is looked on being gained control if civil society like LSM etc. plays greater roles. 

Existence of Islamic boarding school in attitude of epoch growth, it is of course have the commitment remain to serve the education pattern capable to bear the human resource (reliable SDM), brain strength (thinking), heart (religious faith) and hand (skill), representing especial capital to form the complex person students of Islamic boarding school, I mean santri, in environment society

In Al-Quran is stated that:

فلولا نفر من كل فرقة منهم طائفة ليتفقهوا في الدين ولينذروا قومهم إذا رجعوا اليهم لعلهم يحذرون.

"Why should not then a company from every party from among them go forth that they may apply themselves to obtain understanding in religion, and that they may warn their people when they come back to them that they may be cautious?"

Even though such, obviously there are a few things that need to be noticed by the students of Islamic boarding school in third millennium bearing in a framework doing quality development velocity of his human resources for example with harmonization among professionality and specialization, and fiqh's discourse development as a discourse that form a thinking pattern of the students of Islamic boarding school. 

Prophet Muhammad SAW stated that:

من يرد الله به خيرا يفقهه في الدين

 "Whoever is wanted well by God, he was made become a person that gains control deeply understanding in theology." 

 Along with running of time, how the understanding application of fiqih in its reality also become problem itself, one all of this time haven't gotten attention. Therefore, it needs to mark sense efforts from partly of the students of Islamic boarding school, to see about the problems which emerge to surface not only with fiqh's perspective, but with other dimensions such as theology dimension, political, economic, and historical, even with borrowing discourse which is looked on all this time by Islamic boarding school clan in "common knowledge" category as sociology, psychology and medical science. 

Presumably require to be realized with, that's in this global era, society does not only claimed bright in the field of theology. Religion anyway only is functioned not more as moral fortress. So, to face the epoch which mount the competitive progressively "becoming" this, not just moral fortress which require to be made  account, but cultivation of skill and development efforts in modern sector; like service, economic, business, political, computer. These things will follow to assist the society in replying this modern epoch demand. This matter referred with the real action mission (da'wah bil hal) which must be played by Islamic boarding school. Like in the ushul's pattern.

With global charge at the present, at least the students of Islamic boarding school can place themselves on accord level to society requirement.

 Globalization's demand doesn't possible to be avoided. One of the wise step is draw up the Islamic boarding school do not "under developed cart" in order not to fail emulation. This matter attitude, at least there are three things which must be tilled.  First, as one of society components, the students of Islamic boarding school have to try a force and bargains to do meaning change. The students of Islamic boarding school can place themselves as transformator, motivator, and innovator. 

Second, the students of Islamic boarding school have to build their human resources quality with harmonization among professionality and specialization, and developing fiqh's discourse as shape of the students' thinking pattern.

Third, the Islamic boarding school as institute of education Moslem scholar shall want to change the format, the form, the orientation and the education method not until change the vision, mission and orientation.

From epoch to epoch, generation to generation of Islamic boarding school's roles through the function and student's duty as fight to straighten of religion values and also fight to transform it into growth process and society growth. Such target is to be society life stay in the proportional condition among the aspect of world and eternity.
